Join the global movement in the sharing of photographic visions, experiences and conversations. Participate in Long Shot and be part of a world wide community celebration of photography. Shoot anywhere in the world with any camera! Funds raised through Long Shot will help provide tools for Photographic Center Northwest, keep the doors open 6 days a week for artists and the community, and support public programs, outreach, and exhibitions. PCNW relies on the support of the community for 30-40% of their budget in order to keep tuition and facilities access affordable, and the exhibitions free. 
 

PCNW is unique in the Pacific Northwest, a gathering place dedicated to the creation and exploration of photography and supporting those who love and practice it.


Long Shot is PCNW’s annual fundraiser, taking place during the summer solstice; people around the world take photos for 24 hours from June 18 to June 19. The best ones are chosen by a panel of professionals and printed for a gallery exhibition and celebration party on June 25, where they're available for auction.


The Long Shot fundraiser and auction supports PCNW’s innovative mix of educational programs, gallery exhibitions, and public programs, along with one of the best Black & White labs in the Northwest and a state-of-the-art digital printing lab.
